Dr. Louis Leva
Dr. Louis Leva was four years old when he and his family moved from Italy to Iselin, NJ. After growing up in New Jersey, he attended the University of Scranton and graduated in 2003 as a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta (the pre-med, pre-dental honors society). In 2007 he graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with clinical honors. He then completed a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City. While in this program, he concentrated on refining his oral surgery skills, including techniques essential to help patients in need of complex implant restorations.
Dr. Leva spent several years in private practice in New York City after completing his residency. Then, in 2012 he relocated back to New Jersey to start a family with his wife, Kimberly. He has a son Logan, four years old and another baby on the way, due in summer of 2018. In 2014, Dr. Leva became the Dental Director of the Old Bridge office.
He became a dentist because he likes working with his hands and making people comfortable. His favorite part of dentistry is seeing patients who were once terrified of the dentist, calm and smiling in his chair after he exceeded their expectations. He is very compassionate and conservative with his approach.
In his spare time, Dr. Leva enjoys jogging, cooking and rooting for the New York Jets with his son.
Dr. Aaron Prestup
Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Aaron Prestup always loved dentistry and was designed to be a dentist himself. Even though he's been helping keep patient's gums healthy as our periodontist since 1980, he didn't start out that way.
When he graduated dental school in NJ in 1972, Dr. Prestup practiced general dentistry. He went back to Columbia in 1979 to become a Periodontic Specialist, and joined Eastern Dental the following year.
Dr. Prestup was born in Newark and grew up in Irvington, NJ. He has three children and loves kayaking, and is an avid skier. If you see him on the slopes, be sure to flash him your happy, healthy smile.

Dr. Ayesha Muzaffar
Dr. Ayesha Muzaffar always wanted to be a dentist because according to her, dentistry is the perfect blend and balance of art and science. Born and raised in Pakistan, she completed her Bachelors in Dental Surgery and then came to the United States where she pursued her education further, and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, attaining the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Muzaffar has a passion for dentistry. She loves and truly enjoys her profession. Treating children is the highlight of her day at the office.
Dr. Muzaffar stays up to date on research, innovative technology and the latest treatment modalities through continuing education courses in order to deliver optimal care to her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, American Academy of General Dentistry and various study groups.
Outside of the office, Dr. Muzaffar likes to bake, swim, and explore new places with her husband and two children.
Dr. Salma Khan
Dr. Salma Khan earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Fatima Jinnah Dental College in Karachi, Pakistan before moving to the United States. She then attended New York University College of Dentistry to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Khan chose to become a dentist because as a young child, her family always told her she was artistic and she knew she wanted to be in the medical field. Dentistry was the perfect combination. She loves that it is hands on and at the same time she gets to help others. Prior to joining Eastern Dental in 2017, she worked in another practice in Somerset, NJ. She is specialized in restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, endodontics, oral surgery, and Invisalign.
Her approach is to make sure patients feel comfortable and to take her time to provide quality dentistry. She stays up to date and expands her knowledge through continuing education courses. She's become advanced in implant prosthetics and adhesive dentistry.
She is married with one son. She loves to spend time with her family, and when her young son isn't keeping her busy, she enjoys yoga, traveling, and going to the movies.
Dr. Nicholas Punzalan
Dr. Nicholas Punzalan studied math and majored in Economics before attending the University Of Colorado School Of Dental Medicine and obtaining a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011. He became a dentist simply because he likes to help people.
After completing his orthodontic training, he practices in Greeley, CO before moving to New Jersey. He is Invisalign certified and an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. His approach to orthodontic care is thorough and patient.
Dr. Punzalan is married with a young child at home and in his spare time enjoys coding, cooking and exercise.

Dr. Carlos Molina
Dr. Carlos Molina completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico Dental School. He was awarded a National Quintecense Student Dental Research Award and was a two-time NIH Summer Research Fellowship Recipient.
He pursued his Post Graduate training in Molecular Biology, NeuroAnatomy and Nerve Regeneration at the National Institutes of Health and was awarded an Intramural NIH National Research Dentist Grant and National Research Scientist Award. Upon completion of his Post Doctoral training, he became faculty at Loma Linda Dental School and Loma Linda Center for Molecular Biology collaborating in over two dozen publications.
His clinical training has also included mini residencies in Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Functional Orthopedics and Orthodontics. At present, he is a Diplomat of the American Dental Implant Association as well as International Dental Implant Association. He has taken dental implantology continuing education courses and has been a coordinator to four dental schools and enjoys lecturing.
He has been with Eastern Dental for over 15 years and is one of our most experienced providers.
Dr. Michael Kovall
Dr. Michael Kovall graduated dental school in 1976. Following graduation, he completed a one year residency in Dental General Anesthesia, and after that completed his residency.
Following the completion of his education, he spent three years training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, finishing in 1980. He then started working in private practice before joining Eastern Dental in 1983.

Dr. Ariane Seto
Dr. Ariane Seto completed her undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Arts in Genetics at Rutgers University. Then, continuing at Rutgers, she attended the School of Dental Medicine, where she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following her education, she then completed a residency program at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Dr. Seto became a dentist because she likes to work with her hands, and dentistry is the perfect combination of science and artistry. She enjoys developing a relationship with her patients and restoring their smiles, while also improving their overall health. She thoroughly enjoys every discipline of dentistry which is her motivation to be the best general dentist she can be. Her practice philosophy is that the patient should ultimately decide which treatment option best fits their wants and needs, but she is always there to offer guidance so that her patients are making well-informed decisions.
Dr. Seto is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Monmouth � Ocean County Dental Association and the American Academy of General Dentistry. She has attended continuing education courses in restorative materials, implant placement, provisionalization and restorations, socket preservation and periodontal therapies.
In her spare time, she is always searching for her next adventure and good food. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, rock climbing and reading.
Dr. Kamy Mehta
Dr. Kamy Mehta knew she wanted to be a dentist right out high school. She wanted to be hands on in making people smile. She feels that changing someone's smile has a large effect on self-acceptance and minimizing insecurities. She succeeded through a seven year direct dental program to obtain her education. She completed her undergraduate studies at Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and then attended New York University College of Dentistry where she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then completed a residency program at St. Joseph�s Regional Medical Center.
She specializes in treating children and performing extractions, and takes a conservative approach to dentistry by doing everything she can to save someone�s natural teeth. She is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association and has been a recipient of the Panyotis Agelarakis Award.
Dr. Mehta has a large extended family of 75 people in Arizona, and many of her cousins are like siblings. She enjoys hiking, outdoor activities, sports like tennis, football and basketball, traveling internationally, and playing board games.
