About Kimberly Tinger, D.D.S.
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, at the age of six Dr. Kimberly Tinger knew exactly what she was destined for … her dream was to become a dentist. Dr. Tinger completed her undergraduate studies at Wagner College where she received a scholarship for her academics and was accepted into their Pre-Dental program. As one of four students accepted, Dr. Tinger completed her studies in just three years. She graduated from Wagner College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and minoring in Pre-Dentistry.
In 2003, Dr. Tinger attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry. There she achieved excellence in academics rising to become one the top students in her class. Dr. Tinger was one of the first seven students allowed to embark on the school’s rural rotation, participating in the West Virginia University School of Dentistry’s West Virginia Institute for Community and Rural Health experience. Dr. Tinger graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in May of 2007 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Tinger was one of only twelve doctors accepted to Staten Island University Hospital’s Dental General Practice Residency. There, she developed her skills, gaining expertise in esthetic and implant dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and hospital dentistry.
Dr. Tinger joined Eastern Dental® in 2009 and practiced in several its offices due to high patient demand for her services in Clifton, Eatontown, and Toms River. Dr. Tinger is known for her compassion towards her patients, her gentle touch, her clinical and diagnostic excellence in dentistry and her desire to always strive for perfection.
Dr. Tinger is a member of the American Dental Association, as well as the New York and New Jersey Dental Associations. Dr. Tinger continues to keep up with the many advances in dentistry by attending continuing education courses each year.
Dr. Tinger resides in New Jersey with the love of her life, her husband. She loves spending time with her family, including her nephew and nieces. When Dr. Tinger is not saving teeth, she enjoys watching them get knocked out at the New Jersey Devils Hockey games.
