About Louis J Leva, DDS

Dr. Louis Leva was four years old when he and his family moved from Italy to Iselin, NJ. After growing up in New Jersey, he attended the University of Scranton and graduated in 2003 as a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta (the pre-med, pre-dental honors society). In 2007 he graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with clinical honors. He then completed a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City. While in this program, he concentrated on refining his oral surgery skills, including techniques essential to help patients in need of complex implant restorations. Dr. Leva spent several years in private practice in New York City after completing his residency. Then, in 2012 he relocated back to New Jersey to start a family with his wife, Kimberly. He has two sons, Logan and Landon. In 2014, Dr. Leva became the Dental Director of the Old Bridge office. He became a dentist because he likes working with his hands and making people comfortable. His favorite part of dentistry is seeing patients who were once terrified of the dentist, calm and smiling in his chair after he exceeded their expectations. He is very compassionate and conservative with his approach. In his spare time, Dr. Leva enjoys jogging, cooking and rooting for the New York Jets with his sons.
