Meet Our Team

Dr. Joseph Iavarone
Dental Director
Dr. Joseph Iavarone received a Bachelor of Science degree from Seton Hall before attending dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he graduated in 1970 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He knew he wanted to become a dentist after he broke his jaw in a car accident and became interested in the field. Following his education, he joined the Navy and was a practicing dentist for 2 years before joining a private practice. He then joined Eastern Dental in 1979. He has a special interest in crowns and bridges, partials, dentures, and full mouth reconstruction especially dealing with implants. His approach to dentistry is by the book. He�€™s honest, and his main goal is to provide proper care for his patients, with honest treatment plans, and his sole focus is on the health of his patient. He has taken time to continue his education by attending courses on implants, crowns and bridges, dentures, pathology, among others. Dr. Iavarone has been married to this Lori, a registered dental hygienist for 34 years and he has three children who all live in Florida. He enjoys boating, spending time his with children and grandchildren, buying cards, and reading.
Dr. Eric Segall
Orthodontist

Dr. Eric Segall has had ties to Eastern Dental his entire life. His father has been an orthodontist with Eastern Dental since Dr. Segall was born. As a child, he regularly went to the dental office to observe his father's work, and later Dr. Segall was employed as a dental assistant and lab technician for the practice. Dr. Segall has been practicing with Eastern Dental since 2004 when he completed his orthodontic training.

Dr. Segall received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology from the University of Michigan. He then graduated top of his class at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Following dental school, he completed a certificate in orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Segall has made a commitment to life-long learning of innovative treatment methods.

Dr. Segall is truly passionate about his work. There is not greater satisfaction than meeting or exceeding a patient's expectations with treatment. When he is not straightening teeth, he is a sports fanatic. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two children.

Dr. Raymond Hancock
General Dentist/Prosthodontist
Dr. Raymond Hancock completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Temple University in 1967 before attending Temple University School of Dentistry, where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1972. He practice general dentistry for three years in New Jersey until he continued his dental education a few years later to receive a Certificate in Prosthodontics in 1977. Since his education, he has been providing prosthodontic treatment ever since. He also spent 15 years teaching dental school students about his specialty. He takes a conservative and patient-centered approach to dentistry. He specializes in implant restoration and cosmetic dentistry and attends continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest advances in the industry. He is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has three children, a dentist, a yoga instructor, and a dental assistant. He enjoys fishing, playing the piano, woodworking and gardening.
Dr. Aleksandr Vasenko
General Dentist
Dr. Aleksandr Vasenko obtained both a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000 and 2005 and then completed a residency program at the Maimonides Medical Center. He chose to become a dentist because he enjoys working with precision. Dr. Vasenko is specialized in oral surgery and implantology. He has gained expansive knowledge in immediate implant placement through continuing education courses. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Dental Implant Association. He has been awarded the Presidential Schoker Fellowship Award. Dr. Vasenko is married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, hiking, skiing, and traveling.
Dr. Bill Paliouras
General Dentist
Dr. Bill Paliouras has been with Eastern Dental since 2002 and graduation. Dr. Paliouras completed his undergraduate studies Magna Cum Laude from Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry and Religion. He then went on to the School of Dentistry at New York University where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Followed by his schooling, he completed a residency at Woodhull Medical and Health Center. He has been practicing dentistry for 16 years utilizing state of the art dental techniques and technologies. He has practiced in all fields of dentistry with a highlight in endodontic therapy, prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), and aesthetic and restorative dentistry. One of the reasons he became a dentist was because his role model, an older cousin was a dentist growing up. He also chose it because it is challenging, but yet a very rewarding and respecting career involving the community. As a healthcare provider his number one satisfaction is being able to help his patients be eliminating their pain and also improving or correcting their dento/facial esthetics. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Mercer County Dental Association. His hobbies include all outdoor activities, including fishing, scuba diving and hunting.
Dr. Cyril Labega
General Dentist
Dr. Cyril Labega began his education at Mount Saint Mary College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Dr. Labega liked to work with his hands so he chose to become a dentist. He then attended Tufts University for dental school and earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Labega is a General Dentist and provides all aspects of general and preventive care to patients of all ages. His approach to dentistry is methodical and he regularly takes continuing education courses to stay on top of the latest techniques in the industry. Dr. Labega is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Labega enjoys running and all things fitness.
