A PPO is a network of doctors, hospitals, dentists and other healthcare providers who work with a specific insurer to provide members with reduced rates and negotiated fees for services. A Preferred Provider Plan allows members to choose to receive healthcare from participating providers or, at higher cost, from non-participating providers. In both cases there are usually deductibles involved. Preferred Provider Plans are not limited to dental insurance, but the ones listed below have dental plans.
